Success Story that is Worth Reading
Everything started in the year of 1983. Dagi brand took her
first steps in ready-made clothing sector. Those steps had big
resounds. Dagi was far ahead of it’s time period with it’s
character, production quality and capacity, design understanding,
marketing skill and in short, with it’s brand dynamics. Maybe it
was for this reason, it was perceived as a foreign brand during
first 10 years. There was confusion about it’s origin even in
it’s own sector. Everthing was cleared by the time. Everbody
accepted the reality. In 2008, Dagi celebrated it’s 25th year as
100% Turkish Textile Company and it registered it’s name in the
leadership of ladies and gents underclothing, pajama and
sportswear.
In the year of 2004, Dagi lived it’s biggest
alteration process after it’s establishment. A new partnership
meant more power and more investment. First, the logo of the
company was renewed, then the numbers of the stores started to
incearse and the headquarters building was started to be used.
The closed area of 8000 square meters was re-structured to
include the production in it’s scope. The raw materials used in
the productions were changed. Dagi solidified the strong and
quality fabric perception of the customers to be in their minds
even stronger than before.

Our
Products tell about themselves
Especaiily after the alteration took place in 2004, the entire
product portfolio was designed again. Everyting required were
changed and the entire collection was renewed and Dagi achieved
the position of being a Company to produce underclothings,
pajamas, sportswears, socks, swimsuits for ladies and gents.
Dagis especially grew in the branch of underclothing and it
stood in the forefront fort he areas of comfort and design and
made it’s place even stronger fort he preference list of the
consumers. Despite the fact that Dagi does it’s business in
ready-made clothing, it did not comprimise from it’s production
standards because of it’s boutique peoduction standards.
Dagi gained the respects of it’s consumers together with their
likings.
We Are
Everywhere… but where are We ?
Dagi opened it’s first store in Þiþli in the year of 1989.
Shopping mall retailing for Dagi started with Akmerkez. Dagi
brand took it’s place in the newly opened centers by the time.
Today, Dagi is reaching to it’s consumers in
many cities of Turkey.
Other than the shopping malls, Dagi is increasing it’s expansion
with it’s stores taking place in the centers of the cities. Dagi
has also expanded itself abroad with it’s two stores taking
place in Greece, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina and with it’s
stores in Bulgaria and with it’s Nicosia and Girne stores in
Cyprus and together with these, Dagi ia planning is having
investment plans for several other
new countries.

Dagi has implemented many of the ‘first’ in it’s secor
as being appreciated and at the same time pursuited with it’s
projects in the production and marketing areas. Flowered
bathrope worn by Gülben Ergen in TV Series of ‘Nursemaid’ could
not be forgotten after all these passing years. The stars of TV
Series, ‘Don’t Let the Children Hear’ were reflected on the
TV screens under the sponsorship of Dagi. Dagi’s
superiod production quality was also tested by the National
FooBall Team and it was approved with success. In 2001, 12 Giant
Men and in 2001 – 2002, the paroducts of the fans were produced
and marketed by Dagi. Dagi was the first Company in Turkey to
have
the idea of putiing the underclothings in tin cans and Dagi is
also the first Company to produce the household wears that can
be used outside as well.
